CarRes booking solution now available as a fully hosted service in North America
Carus has today announced that it is teaming up with Peak 10, Inc, the leading US independent data center operator and managed services provider, in order to offer its market leading booking, ticketing, check-in and administration solution, CarRes, as a Managed Service out of Peak 10’s state-of-the-art data center facility in Atlanta, Ga.
This means that American clients for the first time will be able to take advantage of the full power of CarRes without having to make the investment in their own Oracle operating environment, associated hardware and skill sets to run this mission critical application.
CarRes is a world leading solution for booking, ticketing, check-in and boarding supporting online distribution and sales administration. Integrated support for revenue optimization as well as advanced routines for Business Intelligence (BI) and port automation is available within the package.
Carus’ Sales Manager Keith Sherwood adds “We are delighted to be able to bring down what has been a major barrier to a number of US operators moving to CarRes. We believe that many have wanted to benefit from the extensive functionality of CarRes, but the cost of hardware and the fear of managing an Oracle database have put them off. These obstacles are now removed and we can even offer seasonal agreements to fit in with the earning cycles of the individual operators”.
