Niklas Kärkinen has a genuine combination of ferry and IT experience having previously worked for Hogia Ferry Systems as both a Project/Account Manager and as one of their Sales Managers. He joins Carus from Igence, where he has been managing the implementation of IBMs eCommerce tool, WebSphere Commerce, for Eckerö Line, a ferry operator in Helsinki.

 

Carus completes the separation from Anite Travel with the appointment of Keith Sherwood as Sales Manager for North and South America, UK, Middle East, Asia and Oceania. Keith will join Carus fulltime from 1 January 2012 after having spent the last 3½ years sharing his time between the two businesses. Keith has 35 years of experience from the global transportation market having worked with Airline and Ferry reservation and Revenue Management systems throughout his career.
