Powerful booking tools

Everything can be booked in a powerful, simple and intuitive, but still flexible, process that is easy to learn. The inbuilt help service with hints and look-up-functions supports the user during the booking process. Even basic CRM-functionality is included in order to make it possible to store information about customer acitivities.

A booking can consist of any number of journeys, point-to-point or multileg, for which you may book:

  • Passengers
  • Freight and passenger vehicles
  • Cabins and seats
  • Restaurants
  • Meetings and conferences
  • Pre-order of goods and other miscellaneous services

Land-based arrangements can be booked together with one or multiple journeys or as freestanding elements. Land arrangements that can be booked includes, but is not limited to:

  • Accommodation
  • Meetings and conferences
  • Connections and transfers
  • Miscellaneous services

Once a booking has been made, there is full support within CarRes for invoicing, payment processing (including online credit card authorisation), ticketing, booking amendments and cancellations.

The system also supports multilingual customer documentation. The language of the customer determines the language in which a booking confirmation or an invoice is presented, based on a range of texts set up by the operator in CarRes. The system is also able to maintain multiple translations against data descriptions set up in its database.

Bookings can be made using the inhouse user dialogue, the web or General Distribution Systems like START and Pharos.
