Simon is a senior executive with extensive international experience acquired primarily in the Travel & Tourism and Shipping sectors in public, private and NFP ownership. He is a subject matter expert in Omni channel marketing, brand development, customer management, on-board offer and the development of yield & pricing architecture. He has a Successful track record in leading & managing change through people in highly competitive markets where the battle for customer attention impacts on every aspect of the business – extensive experience in business transformation. He’s well versed in representing business externally with Government and other sector institutions. He is a Director of the Institute of Travel & Tourism and was past Chairman / Director of Passenger Shipping Association representing interests of the sector to Government and media. Jose has over 25 years experience in the Transportation sector, having held Senior Management positions in transportation and shipping corporations in Spain and Latin America. Jose has been a Founder, Managing Director and Full Board Member of several transportation companies specialising in the transportation of passengers and freight. His extensive experience has spanned many disciplines including a Ship owner, Ship Agent, Sea and Air Freight Forwarder and a Shipping Broker. He has hands-on experience of the supply chain, warehousing and distribution, surface transportation to the Tourism sector. Jose has founded metropolitan and touristic shipping lines, managed the acquisition and merger of travel agency groups. He created his own Strategic Consulting Business that specialised in the approach and implementation of Strategic Management Processes (SMP), definition and restructuring of Strategic Business Units (SBU) and is Managing Director and Project Manager for the maritime sector.

David is a senior executive with 40 years of management experience in the maritime industry and as a government official.  He was the Director of the largest ferry system in North America (Washington State Ferries), served as a department director for the City of Seattle, WA, and was the City Manager for three different jurisdictions in Washington State.  While Director of Washington State Ferries (WSF) he successfully obtained the funding for six new ferries and managed their construction on time and within budget, managed the development and implementation of a vehicle reservation system on four of WSF’s ten routes, and lead WSF to increase ridership.  As a former governmental official, he is skilled at government relations and public policy development and implementation.  He currently serves maritime and government clients as the principal in DM Consulting.
